Welcome to MomsTurnToday… so glad you found a minute for yourself -and you’re sharing that precious time with us.  As the mom of three grown kids I know all too well how easy it is to loose yourself between work, the house, everyones activities and homework, the #%*@ school projects and the general hum of chaos.  Of course we love it- we wouldn’t trade our kids and all the crazy chaos for the world but lets be honest… as the years go on it becomes easier and easier to forget who we used to be.

I’m Barbara and MomsTurnToday is my two part pet-project/blog.

Part One -‘sometimes you’ve just got to fake it’ is all about how to find me-time in the middle of the hustle and bustle of mom life.  Don’t fool yourself- you can find and grow some of the most amazing hobbies and adventures all the time disguising your MomsTurn as kid and community time … just you watch.

Part Two – ‘the real deal’ highlights the true, real deal MomsTurn.  Those rare, treasured times you really get to kick back and chill. Those times you get to remember the you you were before kids and glimpse at the you you will be in your post-mommy days.
